Duke's Corner Podcast |
Profiles of Java Developers |
Jim Grisanzio from Java Developer Relations attended JavaZone Oslo in September and spoke with some developers from the show floor.
First we hear from Cay Horstmann, a Java Champion, an author, and a professor who spoke about using Java for small tasks, teaching Java to thousands of students for decades, and also commenting on the thriving conference environment for Java developers globally.
Next there was a conversation with Dervis Mansuroglu and Marek Machnik, two of the JavaZone leaders who managed the event. That conversation covered the speakers at the conference, the innovative venue, the many volunteers, the diverse content, and the 3000+ developers that participated during the week.
For more background about how JavaZone evolved from innovative developers in the Norwegian Java User Group, check out this Duke's Corner podcast with Dervis earlier in 2024. |
