The patches listed under Patches Tested are required for Solaris 10 11/06. It may be necessary to create a custom install image. Instructions for doing so can be found at http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/819-5455.
For all other Solaris 10 releases, it is also necessary to enable the PCI Enhanced Configuration Access option within the system BIOS. To update the system BIOS, follow these steps.
1. Reboot the system.
2. As the system is rebooting, press F1 to access the system BIOS.
3. To enable MCFG, select Advanced Setup -> PCI Bus Control -> PCI Enhanced Configuration Access.
4. Use the Right or Left arrow key to set the PCI Enhanced Configuration Access to Enabled.
