General Notes:
For Solaris 10 10/08 release, need the following workaround due to CR 6742132:
1. add the following line to /etc/system to avoid the system hang during a warm
reboot:
set pcie_pci:pepb_intel_workaround_disable = 1.
2. change a line in /boot/grub/menu.lst :
from original:
kernel /platform/i86pc/multiboot
to :
kernel /platform/i86pc/multiboot -B disable-intel_nb5000=true
Both changes have to be done on the installed system ( mounted under "/a") before the reboot of the new installed machine.
