Oracle GoldenGate is a comprehensive software package for real-time data integration and replication in heterogeneous IT environments. The product set enables high availability solutions, real-time data integration, transactional change data capture, data replication, transformations, and verification between operational and analytical enterprise systems.
Oracle GoldenGate 19c brings extreme performance with simplified configuration and management, tighter integration with Oracle Database, support for cloud environments, expanded heterogeneity, and enhanced security. In addition to the Oracle GoldenGate core platform for real-time data movement, Oracle provides the Management Pack for Oracle GoldenGate—a visual management and monitoring solution for Oracle GoldenGate deployments—as well as Oracle GoldenGate Veridata, which allows high-speed, high-volume comparison between two in-use databases.
How Oracle GoldenGate uses Oracle JET
The new Oracle GoldenGate Microservices Architecture, first introduced in GoldenGate release 12.3 (August 2017), provides REST-native services as part of the Oracle GoldenGate environment. The REST-native services allow remote configuration, administration, and monitoring through REST APIs. Each of these microservices also provide an embedded HTML5 app created by means of Oracle JET, with which customers can remotely configure, administer, and monitor GoldenGate using just their browser.
Oracle JET allowed us to develop a comprehensive set of embedded HTML5 apps for the new GoldenGate Microservices architecture quickly. The extensive Oracle JET toolkit allowed us to focus our efforts on the business logic, the UX, and being able to continually refine and enhance our application.
