Overview of the Free Oracle Cloud Promotion

1Start at the Oracle Cloud website

Go to the Oracle Cloud website (cloud.oracle.com).

Click Try for Free.

2Sign up for the free promotion

Enter an account name, select a data region, and specify your contact information.

Verify your identity with your mobile number and a verification code.

Enter your credit card details.

Accept the terms and conditions and click Complete. Wait for a Welcome email.

3Sign in to Oracle Cloud

In the welcome email, click Get Started with Oracle Cloud.

Sign in with the username and password that was provided in the email.

You'll be prompted to change your temporary password.

You're then directed to the Oracle Cloud Console.

4Get familiar with your account

Oracle Cloud Console gives you quick access to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and specific database cloud services.

Open the navigation menu on the top left to navigate to services.

For example, open the navigation menu and click Compute to work with the Compute service and instances.

To quickly get started with some of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or Database services, click the tiles under the Quick Actions section.

For example, click Create a VM instance to quickly create a Compute instance.

To access other Oracle Platform Cloud Services in your order, navigate to the My Services dashboard from the console.

Open the navigation menu, go to Administration then click My Services Dashboard.

The My Services Dashboard is your starting point for all your Oracle Cloud Account management actions.
