New Website Performance Dashboard
A new Website Performance dashboard is now available. Use this dashboard to view the following metrics:
- Top Web Pages
- Top Locations
- Visitor Trend
- Page Views by Source Type
- Page Views by Source Name

You can now easily add dynamic date prompts to your custom email reports.
Relative time periods are now available for the following email subject areas:
- Dynamic Content
- Email Unsubscribe
- Email Spam Unsubscribe
- Email Send
- Email Sales Activity
- Email Open
- Email Clickthrough
- Email Bounceback
- Email Analysis by Send Date
- Email Activity
The following email subject areas are excluded:
- Email Frequency by Month subject area (aggregated already by month)
- Email Frequency subject area
To allow users to filter your custom analyses by relative time, from the Prompts tab, add the TimeSpan column. The TimeSpan will provide the following options: Past 7 days, Past 14 days, and Past 30 days.

Additional Enhancements to Insight and Dashboards
You can now access the Lead Score Dashboard from the Lead Scoring module.
Contact Database Health subject areas is now available.
The Sender Email Address attribute now provides the sender based on the email signature instead of the user email address.
The Contact Database Health Dashboard now contains commas when displaying numbers in the Summary.
Several dashboard reports are now available in Insight, and are linked from the dashboard itself. Note that currently the Website Performance Overview dashboard is not linked. Also, there is no Insight report for the following: Contacts by Lead Score Category (Lead Score Model Comparison dashboard), Traffic Trend By Geography (Landing Page Performance dashboard).
The time span prompt has been removed from the Email Frequency report.
Fixed an issue which prevented users from drilling through to details from the Campaign Revenue Analysis report.

Additional Analyzer Licenses Available
You are now able to have as many Analyzer licenses enabled as the number of Eloqua Marketing licenses you are licensed for. For example, if you have 100 Marketing User licenses, you are entitled up to 100 Analyzer licenses (one per Marketing User). Previously, this was 5 for Basic Trim, 10 for Standard Trim, and 20 for Enterprise Trim. Please note, this is for new Insight (powered by Oracle BI).
IMPORTANT: In order to have the Analyzer licenses allocated, please log in to to My Oracle Support and create a service request with the list of users to provision.

You can now add your own lookups to be used in Contact Washing Machine app. This provides more flexibility in cleaning up data in Eloqua, and allows you to look at the reports of missing lookup values against your data. You can also see the reports on missing keywords in your lookups and improve them.

Oracle Sales Cloud Integration App
Add imports to program canvas:
- You can now add Oracle Sales Cloud imports onto the program canvas as feeder steps.
- This allows you to perform various post-processing operations on your contacts.
- Note: There is a limit of only up to 10 instances of feeders + imports post processing steps.
Simplified app configuration:
- You can now speed up your Oracle Sales Cloud Integration app setup by creating recommended imports and actions.

Add Notes to Campaigns and Programs
You can now create general campaign and program notes, as well as notes for a single step. Notes can help you remember where you left off while working and alert colleagues as to the purpose of your campaign or program.

Email Design Editor Enhancements
You can now write right-to-left in buttons in the Design Editor.
You can now add CSS code to your email using the Design Editor.
Locked content is now displayed while using the Design Editor.
When an email is saved as a template, the preview/subject line is now removed.
There are three new canvas width options in the email design editor: 756px, 900px, and 1080px in addition to the existing 600px default.

Dependencies and Custom Objects
When viewing dependencies for contact fields, Oracle Eloqua 9 custom objects are now also displayed.

User Interface Enhancements for Forms
You are now able to do following in the conditions of a form:
- Delete all conditions in a processing step.
- Delete a selected condition in a processing.
- On mouse hover on the conditions button, see the conditions without going to the condition editor.
- See the count of total processing steps in the user interface.

New Landing Page Design Editor
Our new responsive Landing Page Design Editor is now available in controlled availability. Our legacy editor will now be referred to as Classic Design Editor.
Highlights:
- Native Eloqua forms are now responsive in the new landing page design editor with no migration or changes needed
- Easily add video backgrounds and gradient backgrounds to create engaging content
- Natively build responsive image carousels with up to 5 images
- Updated paste action for email and landing page design editors: choose to match the global or local cell style when pasting content

Custom Object Feeder Now Available
When creating a custom object program, you can now add a custom object record feeder in a listener step. This option automatically adds newly created custom object records for the specified custom object into the canvas. This replaces the custom object service's Add to Program step to add newly created custom object records into your canvas. New custom object records should flow into the program in approximately 5 minutes, compared to 15 minutes through the custom object services.

Action Permission Enhancements
Action permissions for contact fields and account fields are now enforced.
A new Register External Activity permission is now available. When enabled, users can register external activities.

Audit Log is Generally Available
The audit log is now generally available. It was previously in our controlled availability program.
Oracle Eloqua provides a very comprehensive logging and auditing mechanism for all major actions and objects within Eloqua system. Any sensitive data within Eloqua is protected against any un-authorized usage/retrieval from the system.
Audit log highlights:
- Insights about the User Login History
- Detailed audit insights with change details about Security Group and User Profiles
- Eloqua Data upload and Data Export Audit report.
- Export Audit log up to 25 months in CSV and XLS format.
We have also made several enhancements to the audit log:
- The audit log has been localized. The language settings in your browser are now used to determine which language the page are displayed in.
- To improve performance, there is now a cap of 5 million audit log records that can be exported per transaction. In case the total record count is more than 5 million, the system exports only the top 5 million records.
- The audit log has been simplified to show the appropriate number of created and updated records.

Sales Tools for Microsoft Outlook Add-In
Oracle Eloqua Sales Tools for Microsoft Outlook is an add-in for Microsoft Outlook. It provides users with easy access to both Profiler and Engage straight through Microsoft Outlook's email composer, and comes packaged with similar capabilities as the native web and mobile versions of the (responsive) Profiler and Engage. This provides a seamless and consistent experience for sales users that work across a range platforms and devices.

Partners can now start to build apps that will display as tabs within Profiler! Additional extension points for Sales Tools to follow in a future release.

App Developer Framework
- We've added a new endpoint to enable developers to retrieve feeder service instances. Retrieve up to 200 feeder service instances, searched by service instance GUID. For more information, see POST /api/cloud/1.0/feeders/instances.
Application API
- A new property processingStepErrors has been added to the response to submitting a form (POST /api/REST/1.0/data/form/<formId>). This feature is available for Early Preview in 18C, and will be generally available with 18D. You can request access to this feature by submitting a request to My Oracle Support.
- You can now retrieve a list of campaigns using the search parameter with the startAt parameter to filter campaigns by campaign activation date.
Bulk API
- We've added new endpoints to enable developers to retrieve activity fields. Refer to the API documentation to learn how you can retrieve all activity fields, or retrieve an activity field by id.
- You can now include campaign fields in activity export definitions. This enhancement enables developers to properly assign an activity to the correct campaign when data is exported from Eloqua to an external system.

- The Campaign Response endpoints are now generally optional. These endpoints enable developers to access campaign responses, to support the specific use case of updating a campaign response status in CRM via an App on Program or Campaign Canvas. These endpoints can only be used by an App service instance selected in Response Rules setup, and cannot be accessed otherwise. Submit a request to My Oracle Support to start using this feature. You can learn more about Campaign Responses by reading the tutorial or refering to the API documentation.
- Optimizations have been made to EmailOpen and EmailClickthrough Bulk API exports that include Activity Date in the filter.
- The “Manage Contact Fields” Action Permission is now required to create, update, and delete Contacts via the Contact fields Application API endpoints. The “Manage Contact Fields” Action Permission was added in 18B. Learn more
- The "Define External Assets and Activities" Action Permission is now required to create, update, or delete External Assets and External Asset Types using the Application API endpoints. Learn more
- Access to Eloqua's Web Services Description Language (WSDL) is now available only by submitting a request to My Oracle Support.
