Common Technologies and User Experience
Limit Reassignment or Delegation of Workflow Tasks
When users reassign or delegate specific workflow tasks, by default they can select any user. Create and set a profile option so that users can reassign or delegate tasks only to someone else with the same legal employer, or only from specific legal employers. This applies even when users are defining vacation rules that control what happens to tasks that are assigned to them while they’re out of office.
Updated Oracle Visual Builder Studio
Here are some key things you can now do to extend your application pages using Visual Builder Studio:
- Use polymorphic objects
- Display a list of values for rule conditions
- Add listenable vbBeforeEnter and vbBeforeExit events
- Use variables defined in the component context
Validate Migration Sets While Importing to Target
You can now validate migration sets during the import process. Based on the validation results, you can choose to proceed or cancel the import after reviewing the warnings or errors displayed from the validation.
Create Page Entries to Link to VB Studio Pages
While creating or editing a page entry using the Structure work area, you can now link the page entry to a Visual Builder Studio page. You need to select the link type as VB Studio Page and specify the VB Studio flow your VB page is grouped in and the product family your VB Studio page belongs to.
EPM Account Reconciliation Skill in Oracle Digital Assistant
You can now use the EPM Account Reconciliation Cloud Service (ARCS) skill to query and comment on reconciliations directly within Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA). The integrated ARCS skill can be used in Oracle Web channel.
NOTE: The ARCS skill is supported only when the EPM instance is deployed on an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure second-generation (Gen 2) cloud environment.
Notice About Obsolete Tables in Oracle Fusion Applications
