Utilize the multi-language feature for simplifying the translations of checklists and tasks setup from Checklist Templates setup task.
Document Records Approval Process Enhancements
Optimize the approval process by configuring approval rules for Document Records based on these conditions:
- Workers' assignment attributes
- Role of the requestor
- Different actions (such as add or delete)
The notification titles are also enhanced to be more informative. Additionally, you have the ability to manage document records for pending workers, future hires, and terminated workers.
Public Document Delivery Preferences REST API
Use the public Document Delivery Preferences REST API to retrieve the document delivery preference for a person based on the system document type.
Add Document Record Responsive Page Simplified
Simplify document creation on the responsive UI, with the technical document code now hidden out of the box.
Quick Action for Create Work Relationship Flow
Simplify the navigation for the Create Work Relationship flow on the responsive pages. You can now access this flow from the Quick Actions menu on the My Client Groups or My Team tab of the application home page.

HR Specialists can now manage customer defined EFFs as well as legislative EFFs (if defined by localizations) in the following pages:
- Position Details
- Job Details
- Location Details
Line Managers can manage them in Request a New Position and Request a Position Change.
Assignment Extensible Flexfields (EFF) in Additional Assignment Info Page
Enhance the ability of users to manage and view the additional assignment information (assignment extensible flexfield) with the following improvements:
- A new quick action named Additional Assignment Info has been added to view and manage the assignment extensible flexfields.
- Line managers can view the additional assignment information of their direct reports.
- Employees can view their own additional assignment information.
- Dedicated security privilege available for managing additional assignment information.
These enhancements will provide a holistic view of the assignment extensible flexfields for employees, line managers, and HR specialists.
Retained Grade Context Added in Assignment Extensible Flexfield
Enhance the ability of users to manage retained grades by using the new context for the assignment extensible flexfield.
In certain organizations, an employee is entitled to retain the grade held immediately before the action that provides entitlement to grade retention. The grade can be retained for a fixed time beginning on the date the employee is placed in the lower-graded position, unless grade retention is terminated. You can now use the new context to capture this retained grade data.
Additional Parameter for V3 Seniority Calculation Process
Enhance the Calculate Seniority Dates process with the addition of the Include Complete Assignment History parameter. You can use this parameter to do a complete refresh of the V3 seniority dates for the selected population.
Person Extensible Flexfields (EFF) in Additional Person Info Page
Enhance the ability of users to manage the additional person information (person extensible flexfield (EFF)) with these additions:
- A new quick action, Additional Person Info has been added to manage person extensible flexfields.
- HR specialists can manage the additional person information of people in their person security profile.
- HR analysts can only view the additional person information of people in their person security profile.
These enhancements will provide a holistic view of the additional person extensible flexfield for HR specialists and HR analysts.
Additional Content Region in Manager Self-Service Transactions
Add your own personalized content to a new additional content region for manager self-service transactions. For transactions that support the additional content region such as Promote, Transfer, and Change Assignment use the Transaction Design Studio to enable the region in your transaction and make it required or optional. You can then use ADF page composer to add the content you want such as a video, company policies or links to internal documents.
Manage Security of Document Expiration Report
Make it easier to manage who can view the data in the Document Expiration BI Publisher report. This report is now secured by a condition that will restrict it from displaying any data for any user. If you want to grant access to this report’s data to users, a copy of this report needs to be created by removing the condition.

New Location Details Quick Action
Increase user satisfaction with the redesigned Location pages that now have the same look and feel on desktop and mobile devices. These redesigned pages are both responsive and easy to use on any device, with a modern look and conversational language. You can do these tasks using the responsive pages.
- Launch the Location Details quick action to manage locations.
- Launch Add a Location guided process from the Search Locations page.

- View historical information about a location to compare old and new values.
Global HR Replaced or Removed Features
From time to time, Oracle replaces existing features with new features, or removes existing features.
Replaced features may be put on a path of removal, the features below will let you know what update you will have to have moved to the newer feature. As a best practice, you should move to the newer feature as soon as possible for full support and to stay up with the latest updates that the product offers.
Any feature that is removed, will have an Update in which that feature is no longer available. Please make necessary plans to move off the feature by the Update indicated, as it will no longer be available.
Seniority Dates Moves from V2 to V3 in Update 20B
Migrate to version 3 (V3) of the seniority dates feature to leverage the enhanced features introduced in release 17D. These are the key features available only in V3:
- Display of seniority dates in the Employment Info page for employees, line managers, and HR specialists.
- Fast formulas for your complex seniority calculations.
- Ability to load seniority date adjustments using HCM Data Loader.
- OTBI support.
NOTE: The V1 seniority dates feature will continue to be supported. Only the V2 seniority dates feature is being decommissioned and not supported from release 20B onwards.
Human Capital Management for Australia
Oracle HRMS (Australia) supports country specific features and functions for Australia. It enables users to follow Australia’s business practices and comply with its statutory requirements.
My Personal Payment Methods Field Changes
Improve usability and ease of data entry of Australian bank accounts. The label, Bank State Branch, has been renamed to BSB, which is the more commonly used term in Australia. The Australian bank accounts now display these ready-to-use fields: Account Number, Account Holder, and BSB. You can configure the application to display the hidden fields.
Human Capital Management for Austria
Oracle HRMS (Austria) supports country specific features and functions for Austria. It enables users to follow Austria’s business practices and comply with its statutory requirements.
Use Austria's new ‘Not specified’ gender value that is added to comply with local legislative requirements.
Human Capital Management for Brazil
Oracle HRMS (Brazil) supports country specific features and functions for Brazil. It enables users to follow Brazil’s business practices and comply with its statutory requirements.
Brazil Worker Data Validation Report
Increase legislative compliance by using the Worker Data Validation report to verify data for Brazil. The report shows a warning message if the employee's city of birth, state of birth, country of birth, marital status, highest education level, citizenship, or ethnicity are not entered.
Human Capital Management for Czech Republic
Oracle HRMS (Czech Republic) supports country specific features and functions for the Czech Republic. It enables users to follow the Czech Republic’s business practices and comply with its statutory requirements.
National Identifier Cross Validation
Validate the Czech national identifier personal identification number against the person's gender and date of birth. A warning message is triggered if the validation fails.
Human Capital Management for Germany
Oracle Fusion HRMS (Germany) supports country specific features and functions for Germany. It enables users to follow Germany’s business practices and comply with its statutory requirements.
Enable employees to self-disclose a severe disability to the HR and upload their disability certificate. The HR can then enhance the information as basis for disability reporting or annual leave calculation.
Human Capital Management for New Zealand
Oracle HRMS (New Zealand) supports country specific features and functions for New Zealand. It enables users to follow New Zealand’s business practices and comply with its statutory requirements.
Use New Zealand's new ‘Gender Diverse’ gender value that is added to comply with local legislative requirements.
Human Capital Management for Singapore
Oracle Fusion HRMS (Singapore) supports country specific features and functions for Singapore. It enables users to follow Singapore’s business practices and comply with its statutory requirements.
Legal Name in Singapore Name Style Is Made Optional
Relax the person name validations in the legislative reporting process by allowing Legal Name to be an optional attribute in the Singapore name style.
Human Capital Management for United Kingdom
Oracle Fusion HRMS (UK) supports country specific features and functions for the United Kingdom. It enables users to follow the UK’s business practices and comply with its statutory requirements.
Improved FTE Calculation for GB Legislation
Enhance the FTE work measure by expanding its automatic calculation logic to include the Standard Working Hours Override field. If this field is populated, the application uses this hierarchy to derive standard working hours for an employee for the GB legislation: Standard Working Hours Override > Position > Department > Legal Employer > Enterprise.
Human Capital Management for United States
Enhanced Ethnicity and Race Self-Identification
Enhance your Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) reporting through the addition of two employee self-identification ethnicity and race fields. The person is now prompted to identify if they are of Hispanic or Latino ethnicity. If they are not, they are prompted to select their race.
Oracle Global Payroll Interface supports features to send personal payroll information to third-party payroll providers and then to import processed payroll data into Oracle Global HR. You can copy and modify predefined extract definitions to meet the requirements of your third-party payroll provider. Before extracting data, payroll coordinators can optionally run the Calculate Gross Earnings process to calculate periodic values to validate gross earnings calculations. If you import processed payroll data or payslips from your third-party payroll provider, the data is available for further reporting and analysis.
Maintain Global Payroll Local Data in ADP Payroll from HCM Cloud
Navigate seamlessly to the Global Payroll Local Data in ADP for maintaining payroll data from HCM Cloud. The HCM Cloud secures access to create and maintain the payroll data using this integration.
Workforce Health and Safety Incidents
Oracle Health and Safety supports corporate initiatives to track and improve health and safety in the workplace.

Request an Ergonomic Assessment

Improve your reporting in OTBI by using the new subject area that allows you to report on the security setup in the cloud application. Security - Roles & Privileges Real Time is designed to make reporting of Roles, Role Objects, and Role Users easier for OTBI users. You can create and run ad-hoc security reports for needed security review and audit purposes. The subject area has details related to roles, inherited roles, inherited by roles, data security policies, function security policies, and the users set up in the application.
The subject area also has metrics including number of roles, number of users, and so on that can be used to understand the quantum of security built into the organization apart from the actual security details.
New Subject Area - Eligible Jobs
Enhance your reporting with the addition of the Workforce Management - Eligible Jobs Real Time subject area that allows you to report on all the eligible jobs that have been setup for workers. Eligible jobs can be given to workers for a specified period and pay rate.
User Person Type Attribute in Assignment Event Subject Area
Improve your reporting on historical data of workers with the addition of the User Person Type attribute to Workforce Management - Assignment Event Real Time subject area.
New Years of Service Metrics in Work Relationship Subject Area
Enhance your reporting on worker's years of service metrics with the addition of a new set of columns that cater exclusively to the non-primary work relationship (if any) of the workers. The existing years of service metrics will continue displaying the values based on the primary work relationship.
The metrics added under the Work Relationship fact folder include the following:
