Column Definitions:
Report = New or modified, Oracle-delivered, ready to run reports.
UI or Process-Based: Small Scale = These UI or process-based features are typically comprised of minor field, validation, or program changes. Therefore, the potential impact to users is minimal.
UI or Process-Based: Larger Scale* = These UI or process-based features have more complex designs. Therefore, the potential impact to users is higher.
Features Delivered Disabled = Action is needed BEFORE these features can be used by END USERS. These features are delivered disabled and you choose if and when to enable them. For example, a) new or expanded BI subject areas need to first be incorporated into reports, b) Integration is required to utilize new web services, or c) features must be assigned to user roles before they can be accessed.
| Ready for Use by End Users Reports plus Small Scale UI or Process-Based new features will have minimal user impact after an update. Therefore, customer acceptance testing should focus on the Larger Scale UI or Process-Based* new features. |
Customer Must Take Action before Use by End Users Not disruptive as action is required to make these features ready to use. As you selectively choose to leverage, you set your test and roll out timing. |

Event Configuration and Monitoring
This feature lets you view system events used by the Student Management events framework. You can also view the subscribers to the events, and add subscribers to existing events. Event Metrics also lets you monitor statuses and other information for events and their associated subscribers.
Having a granular view into the system events used in Student Management lets you track which events are being used and when they're used. You can also add subscribers to events if you want additional notifications sent when events fire. Additionally, Event Metrics gives you details about event instances and lets you see which subscribers are successfully or unsuccessfully notified when an event fires. For example, you can see which subscribers are notified when a student is added, or when a task is assigned. This helps you determine why recipients receive or don't receive communications when an event occurs.
Steps to Enable
You don't need to do anything to enable this feature.
Tips And Considerations
The events and subscribers you can see today are defined in the Student Cloud application and cannot be modified by users. These are indicated by a lock symbol. However, you can add existing subscribers to an event.

System Events
Metrics for events and subscribers are shown using charts and tabular data. By adjusting filters, you can specify reporting time frames, and the event or subscriber statuses you want to see. For example, you can view published events over the past week, and which subscribers were successfully notified. You can drill down on individual events or subscribers to see details about them.

View applications in a new browser tab or window to retain your advanced search results in the original window. You can also open applications in the same browser tab and see your advanced search criteria and corresponding search results preserved when returning to the application search page.
As an administrator, you can now open an application in a new window or tab using the browser menu. Oracle Student Management Cloud now preserves the application list and any search criteria on the original browser tab.
Also, when you navigate back to the application list page in the same tab or session, it shows the latest advanced search criteria you built and the search results populating in the list below.
Here are some of the advantages that you get.
- You don’t need to re-enter the advanced search criteria every time. As a result, you save time searching for specific applications.
