Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud, February Update
This document outlines the upcoming Oracle Account Reconciliation Cloud update.
Oracle will apply the latest updates to your test environments starting at 23:00 UTC (15:00 PDT) on Friday, February 1, 2019 and to your production environment on Friday, February 15, 2019, also starting at 23:00 UTC. The updates will be applied to your environments during the first subsequent daily maintenance.
The Oracle Help Center, which provides access to updated documentation, has a new look and feel. The updates will be available on February 1, 2019. Some of the links to new feature documentation included in this document will not work until after the Oracle Help Center update is complete.
Reminder: Backing up the daily maintenance snapshot and restoring the environment as needed are self-service operations. Oracle recommends that you download the maintenance snapshot every day to a local server.
NOTE: Account Reconciliation Cloud does not support migration of snapshots from the latest service version to an earlier service version (for example, when moving snapshots between test and production pods during the window when test is upgraded before production.) Migration between the same versions is supported. Some objects, such as Profiles, may still be moved from the latest to an earlier version outside of migration snapshots by exporting them from the latest service version and importing them into the earlier version.
Backing up the daily maintenance snapshot and restoring the environment as needed are self-service operations. Oracle recommends that you download the maintenance snapshot every day to a local server.

Loading an MT940 SWIFT Bank File into Account Reconciliation Cloud Using Data Management
Account Reconciliation Cloud customers who need to load SWIFT MT940 bank file transactions to Account Reconciliation Cloud Transaction Matching can now use Data Management as the integration mechanism. Previously, Data Management has been able to convert the Banking Administration Institute (BAI) bank files into Account Reconciliation Cloud Transaction Matching, so with this update, Data Management can natively process both the BAI and SWIFT MT940 bank files.

New Columns for Auto Submit and Auto Approved
New columns have been added to the Reconciliation List and Filters so you can monitor which roles have been automatically completed via Format or Profile Rules.
For example, if you have configured a Rule for the Reviewer 1 role to automatically approve when Unexplained Difference is 0.00, the new column called Auto Approved (Level 1) will indicate that a Rule was used to automatically complete that role. On a related note, reconciliations that have been automatically reconciled using an Auto Reconciliation method will still remain as separate columns indicating if the reconciliation was Auto Reconciled and which Auto Reconciliation Method was used.

New Column for Attachments Total (Count)
A new column called Attachments Total (Count), which indicates the total count of attachments at the reconciliation and transaction level for a given reconciliation, has been added.
Previously, users and Rules had one column called Attachments (Count) which indicated the total count of attachments at the reconciliation level for a given reconciliation. As part of this change, the previous column Attachments (Count) has been renamed Attachments Reconciliation (Count). This is a rename only, as it still calculates the same count it did previously.
All Users Now Have Access to the Compliance Dashboard
All users can now access the full Compliance Dashboard metrics, which include the default status charts as well as the configurable “traffic light” dashboard metrics. As always, security still applies, so users will only see details for the reconciliations that they are assigned to.

Export and Import Match Types Within or Across Account Reconciliation Cloud Environments
System Administrators can now export the configuration of a Match Type, then import it back into the same environment (with a different Match Type name) or to another Account Reconciliation Cloud environment.
For example, the System Administrator may configure and test a Match Type in their Account Reconciliation Cloud test environment and then once it’s ready, export from test and import into their production environment.
Attribute Field Size Increased
Data Management and Account Reconciliation have increased the size of the data fields that can be moved between them. This also allows larger fields for drillback detail.
When reconciliations are reassigned, email notifications are now sent immediately to reassigned users.
Software issues addressed each month will be posted to My Oracle Support.
In the Academy, some pages and icons may appear different in the video and the Cloud service.
It is a best practice to use Refresh within the Account Reconciliation Cloud user interface rather than performing a browser refresh.
