User administration

User administration in OEDQ includes both user management (creating and editing users and passwords) and user security (assigning application permissions to the appropriate users).

User management can be performed internally, using OEDQ's own tools, or externally, via integration with an LDAP server.

User security in OEDQ employs a users and groups model to facilitate centralized permission management. Whether users are managed internally or externally, user groups are always managed through the OEDQ Launchpad.
